Charlie Chaplin, the legendary British actor, was the king of slapstick comedy. He has also an obsession with marrying teenagersat least three of these wives were teens.

And in 1943, Chaplin married 18-years-old Oona ONeill, at his age of 54, ONeills father, the famous writer, Eugene ONeill, was so angry for this "mismatched" relationship that he disinherited her daughter. Unfamiliarly of his other marriages, this one would last. Oona stayed with Chaplin till his death at the age of 88. They had eight children in their marriage.

Besides, in an interview, Chaplin disclosed having sexual relations with more than 2,000 women.


Chaplin might be doubted women due to worry of loss and abandonment and injury.

He used to discard his partners at will. In an interview by Vanity Fair in 1926 to analyze his desirable woman, he replied:

I am not exactly in love with her, but she is entirely in love with me.
