Which Shrek movie was the best?

Personally I say Shrek 3, but I know many other people do not enjoy Shrek 3 as they feel it is too deprived from the original concept of the series. Popular among fans I hear are Shrek 1 and Shrek 2 but what is you guys opinion on this subject?

The firsst shrek movie is gold to be honest. I liked the second one 2 but the 3rd isnt that good to me

I liked Puss in Boots, a separate film. And the first Shrek

It occurred to me that by naming the film itself 'Dear White People,' I could tap into the burgeoning meme culture as well as make a meta-commentary about the controversies within the film.

i personally like the second movie the most. But the first movie was also pretty good.

The first one was the best the second wasn't too bad at all but the third onewasn't the greatest but overall I enjoyed it
