Heath Ledger absolute masterpiece. However, Joaquin Phoenix take on it is my second choice. I really enjoyed his version. Was different, twisted, and disturbing. Yet somehow you can understand him at certain times.

Heath Ledger Took it to another level. He licked his lips because the prosthetic lip kept coming off but he made it into the character. Something that could have never be writing into the script.
