Which brand of smarthphone do you recommend?

Apple. Although some may argue that it is overpriced and over hyped- it still a very good mobile phone. I personally enjoy the apps that are exclusive to Iphones.

I really like samsung but it is a pain that you cant switch carriers very easily.

Android over Apple's iOS any day, next question is which one.. can't go wrong with Samsung, but don't rule out HTC, Blackberry or the others. It really depends on your budget and what features are important to you. Remember it's a phone, not a fashion statement.

I used both Android and Apple, the Apple devices are lovely to use once you get used to it, you do not notice lags even after years of use, unlike on android devices.

However I only prefer Apple devices when i can jailbreak them. Being unable to freely download/copy files is a bummer for me. I absolutely despise having to useiTunes and/orany other softwarein order to use apple devices to there full potential.

I used Android for quite some time but security became a big issue for me. Additionally the amount of data Google is harvesting would make the NSA blush. I switched to Apple and I don't regret it. It's updated frequently, it just works, they don't harvest data to the extent Google does, and their market isn't shabby.

+1 for Apple iOS

I like the iPhone but tbh samsung make pretty good phones too, had my eye on the S8 for a while.

I think Android smartphones are better because they give you the freedom to do whatever the fuck you want with them, unlike Apple's shit.
