I was gonna recommend NordVPN but after 2 years of using it, they have nearly disabled all Socks servers making it hard for me to recommend especially if you're into torrenting as having Socks proxy is very convenient to set up as you wouldn't need to have NordVPN opened while torrenting, it will just go through the Proxy directly and be secured.

You're probably the best off buying a cheap VPS from providers such as Aruba and running an easy OpenVPN install script

Mullvad works just fine for me, reasonably priced, the locations provided are pretty fast as well, you can pay with cash and stuff

I used to have windscribe but afaik they use your data for their own purposes. Using northvpn now and am quite happy with it.
