Well, I can't recommend the best desktop VPN, as none of the ones I've tried are working with my restricted connection. But the best and free browser VPN I've ever used is Hoxx VPN.

Express VPN. Usually I'm not a VPN person but my job required to travel around the world and in some countries apps are blocked . For example when I was in china, it was hard logging to gmail as they have banned google there.

Nord is great for the price, You can get decent deals from time to time as well.

Be careful when choosing VPN. should be reputable one, otherwise might steal your info.
