i prefer 1.8 cause its between the modern shity stuff and the old school minecraft

Every Patch before 1.8 Beta. Since then you had to eat food, and thats just annoying as hell

For the intense pvp I would say 1.7.10 but well it depends what you want to do

TBH i like the new Mc updates except for the "combat update" where you have to wait for your attacks to charge for max damage. My friends and I both hate that aspect but other than that its alright
