Firefox for a long time now. But I've been using chrome and edge back and forth before. Edge was way faster on my window's 10, but then there wasn't enough add ons. Chrome ate too much of my ram when I needed it and I was limited on ram. I just stuck with firefox until now.

I like Chrome better than any other browser. I have tried Firefox for 1 month test, but I still back to Chrome.

I use the Brave Browser. Because it has an ad blocker and a very good anti tracking system. They block almost all cookies and stuff.

So, I just got back into using my computer however. I'm not sure what to use for browsing. I'm using chrome, but I've heard poor things about it. Firefox is generally what I was leaning towards due to customization ability. That being said, I'm honestly curious on what everyone else is using and why,

So Imainly usechrome because it has extensions, I use the newMicrosoft edge as well because of Microsoft rewards and that's it for the chromium based browsers for the other non-chromium based browsers I use Firefox and Opera GX, I use Opera GXthe least because it isn't the best I use chrome the most, then there's Microsoftedge the 2nd most, Firefox the 3rd, and Opera GX the least.

Yeah I think That's The Longest Post/ Reply I Will Do In A While.

I use chrome because of the customization settings and the add-ons too!

I researched every decent browser known to man years ago and once again about a 1/2 year ago. I'm a staunch advocate of individual liberty and freedom of choice = (not being effed with, manipulated, indoctrinated , propagandized, or straight-up lied to), so I wouldn't EVER use anything having to do with google, facebook, twitter, amazon or any other crooked, slimy and completely dishonest entity. Even so, I still gave each browser with a large following a fair chance and used each one for a week - at both of these occasions. I chose Firefox over 15, 16, 17 (??) years ago, and it wasn't even close. And btw, I also used to go to the best guru forums - even on the 'dark side'.. in order to learn from the smartest folks on the world-wide interwebs about everything 'browsing', security, helpful add-ons, as well as a boatload of system tools. Anyway.. in my more recent excursion into discovering if there was a new king of the web I discovered that Ice Dragon was a derivative (a customization) of the Firefox platform - with a smaller 'footprint'/ uses less resources/ is less of amemory hog. Once again it is not even close - except that Firefox itself is of course right behind it.

Btw, Any of these people who tell you that chrome is better (I read some of the first handful of answers to your post) due to certain features is full of CRAP; they don't have a freakin clue what they're yappin about. Firefox and Ice Dragon have everything that any others do. chrome was my LEAST favored after trying about SEVEN different browsers! And chrome (and all those others I'd mentioned above) track you and sell your personal info, and they are RADICAL leftist = Socialist/ Marxist/ elitist/ globalist= American Constitution-HATING -owned and operated.

Another thing; I'm a voracious reader/ researcher, and I click on hot links in order to read something related to what I'm into, and then do it again.. and again.. and again. And at a gazilion instances have had about 897 tabs open at once! So this is a fabulous test for a browser. It proves the stability of the product. My point here is that I have to also mention that I very recently discovered that the Waterfox browser seems to handle a crap-ton of open tabs at least as well as my two faves, but then... in it, I haven't created about 195 FOLDERS full of bookmarks (from saved week-long forays into a topic)

So in summary, I primarily use Ice Dragon, but also have the Waterfox, CCleaner, Opera and Tor browsers in my 'apps' desktop toolbar folder. And if I'm looking for certain other things - like programs, books or documentaries, I also use the BitTorrent client. And to watch tv shows unavailable elsewhere (for free), I use the PlutoTv app.
