DarkRP is obviously the most popular game mode on GMod. It's also what seems to me the most restricting, the best servers have the worst staff, and any smaller servers seem to want the $$$ to be able to access anything useful. What are some game modes that arent as saturated and cringy like DRP? I've come across the GTA RP or City RP community and seem to kinda like those but those are poorly developed and usually run like crap with awful uptimes.
I have over 200 hours on Garry's Mod and it was all from Trouble in Terrorist Town, that was back when xTcR wasn't shit and shut down. I was an admin for a while and it was such a popular server.. Good ole days for sure.

I've tried to play TTT. I have over 200 hours logged as well. I'm probably better at FNAF than TTT. I'm always the first to die it seems and the rounds are so damn long that i've never really found it enjoyable.
DarkRP is just going to be the most popular gamemode forever. It's so simple to understand and hop into unlike TTT. I have over 1,000 hours on GMOD and never once have I played TTT lol.

I rarely play DarkRP servers. Because i only play them when i'm bored
Me, lol The admins on there are completely un-trained and everyone just breaks all the other rules which makes it very boring. There is no REAL roleplay, so why waste my time on it?
I usually play DarkRP, but it really doesn't feel great. People is always complaining for everything, staff doesn't seems to know how to handle issues, and no one roleplays there.

Same, I usually spend my time trying to get out of the map or to admin zones. It's kinda fun especially when you get caught and waatch admins frantically try and patch the holes.
