Who else is sick of all these damn lurkers and leachers? (Rant)

No seriously, This is ridiculous. It's on every single post everywhere. Some fresh account coping and pasting the same comment to get points. And what frustrates me even more is that the staff can't do much about it because there's so many of these accounts. Staff can't catch them all! I wish there was some kind of way this can be prevented because it simply not productive.

I love community and dont want to see a load of spam posts but I feel this is partly due to the posting requirements for downloading files.
I get its to stop leeches but being open more might give more people a reason to stick around and not post so much poor quality

It's probably one of those things that comes with the territory to be honest.

Honestly, the fact that you have to post 15 times just to VIEW some content (i.e not access links, but even the information on the post apparently? Unless i'm confused) is gonna cause the spam.

I still get that just posting low effort stuff like ''oh wow thanks'' is annoying and I'm at least TRYING to put effort into my posts.

But at the end of the day, you wanna see what a place is about before you commit to it. Although I guess if you're downloading and running either way...

I mean if you look at all the posters all of them are at exactly 15 posts lol. The requirements essentially promote spam
