Who was playing Garry's Mod before the french takeover?

Anyone remember Garry's mod when there were not 100 million french darkRP servers with a million little kids running around Darkrp shooting each another with shotguns?

I feel you brother, 1/2 my country is French and they took over all my fav games

I did, and I don't really care about it I just ain't joing those servers

i have played gmod on and off since you had to buy it from garrys website and it had its own stand alone launcher. but of course just like everything. because of kids we cant have nice things

Yeah, this game blew up and the amount of DarkRP and StarwarsRP servers there are is just out of hand, there is so many other "good" gamemodes and mini-games that don't get attention any more due to this.

Such as

- You Touched It Last
- Hide And Seek
- Trash Compator

etc.

Just a shame to see Garry's Mod change, and with the whole VannosGaming thing, toxic 12 year olds are now running into the game.

I didn't really play before the French takeover. why play Garry's mod before the French capture?
