Why Do People Even Hype Battle Royale Games

I don't really understand why people love those kind of games. What is the thingthat makes it funny?

nothing, they are borderline shitposting of games, young children and adults who make money off it are the only people that play

There is a certain rush of adrenaline with games of this genre that draws people in.

If they weren't good and addictive, people wouldn't be playing them like they do.

Bha...I must say that I miss Unreal tournament don't get the Hype around games like PUBG or Fortnite, maybe I'm just getting old...

There is no reason. People just like dumb trends and will hype anything that seems cool.

This battle royale trend has been a thing since the hunger games yet now everyone thinks it's all brand new cus of fortnite.

Because fortnite is a trench battle royal has been a trend since mine craft hunger games lmao play fortnite for a while its kind of fun. I can't go more than 1 hour playing fortnite however as it does get boring.

Fortnite is minecraft with guns. Now everyone with fortnite is hating on me.

Because console players never had Battle Royale until Fortnite came out. The only Battle Royal they had was PUBG but it turned out to run shit on a console so no one played it. Also, Fortnite is free so that's why there are more people playing it.

Don't personally get the huge craze behind it. It's a fast paced survival game. But personally, I'd prefer to have the slow methodical dayz.

I can understand that feel of coming out on top and why its enjoyable but battle royale games is not something im a fan of
