Why GMOD is currently aids and why I think people who run DarkRP servers should NOT go to S&box.

• If you've made a darkrp server before, with no original content and just gmodstore addons
  
  
• If you have no prior gLua experience but still run a server and try and get "devs to help you and give them a cut of donations"
  
  
• If you are the type of person who makes donator jobs and other absurd rewards for donators and then not attempt to even make your server slightlyunique
  

This applies to you.

DO NOT GO TO S&BOX AND MAKE ANY SORT OF SERVER ON THERE WITHOUT THE INTENT TO LEARN.

If you fit into the above categories then you are the reason why Gmod has a bad overview. It's you and your attempt at making money machine communities which has tainted the scene for the past 3 years.


S&box will prevail as long as the people who I've stated above DO NOT MAKE SERVERS.

I honestly hope to god that making servers in S&Box is extremely complex and there is no sort of marketplace to buy 'ready made' scripts;

Because retards should not run servers.

Disclaimer: I'm all for developers being able to make money from their work, but not on a scale such as GmodStore's. It's not the developers' faults that GmodStore is the way it is, but it is far from "Custom" if every 12-year-old and their mam have the same fucking addons.
