Why are people buy toilet rolls for?

It has nothing to do with that, it's just classic panic buying. During any crisis, essential goods like water and food become scarce as people stockpile, because they fear that they will no longer have access to those goods, or their access will be limited, either because of other panic buying, or because of a crisis response. These fearsencourageother people to panic buy, who do it because others are doing it, starting a cycle. This panic buying is common, look at Hurricane Harvey, Irma, and Katrina.

It's even worse now that limits are placed on goods, which fuel people's fear of not having access to essential items.

people are kind of stupid and thing the end of the world is coming!

i dont know either man, i mean you can always use a water bottle or something in case of emergency

In Philippines people just use soap and water lol
In Japan there's the awesome bidets ^^

I can't say for certain why people would do that. Its not that big of a deal.
