Why did Bitcoin go down in value so fast?

I don't really know a lot about crypto currency but I've always wondered why Bitcoin went down in value so fast?

Not 100% sure but I think it's because of the recent ban on crypto related ads. Google, Facebook, Twitter. Pretty much 3 big ass sites used by many.

Because some adds ban, bitcoin scamming site, and many much others.

China talking about banning cryptocurrency made it drop a lot around feb, haven't kept up on anything recent but the FTC is looking into regulations so expect another big drop if anything should come of it or if any other goverments follow china's lead.

And you also got banks charging people fee's and are threatening to close their customer accounts if they find out they're buying crypto. AFAIK the only bank that banning is Citibank but there other banks giving fees for it.

FUD of regulations, bans and last but not least the panic sell from first time investors.

Basically this.
It was becauseofa lotthings happening at the same time including governments threatening to ban it/regulate it. I think it was also because the hype surrounding it died down.
Making money using graphics cardsis like some cyberspace dream come true, and it's a thing to get easily interested in but it went by quicker than expected.

Guys it's not only about fud. There are also some "whale" foundations who keeps making money from BTC. Sometimes they sell their BTC, people do panic sells and it keeps falling and falling and plus FUD news makes it even worse.

Pretty sure it is the bans of crypto currencies lol north and or south Korea banning mining or something

there has been a huge attack on the crpytos, especially bitcoin, which lead to the market fall.
