Why did they change the name of one of the characters?

I never got the back story as to why one of the characters was renamed. Can someone tell me.

I think you are talking about mcree whos now name is casidy? basically the voice actor or someone involved with his character had a SA case and overwatch was like nah we cant use his name in this game anymore. understandable and respectful decision but mcree was a way better name than casidy,
