Why do people dislike minecraft

Dont get me wrong, i know its a childish sort of game, but if somebody plays it for fun and enjoys it, why do people give so much shit for adults that play it?

I think it's probably mostly because of the fanbase, aka small children. At the school that I went to there were 5,6,7+ year old wearing creeper t-shirts. I don't think that it's so much the game, but the people who play it.

I did enjoy it a few years ago. I ran a few servers and played a couple of tekkit servers. I got bored of the regular game and got addicted to building nuclear reactors.

Minecraft's userbase is a conglomeration of prepubescent autists, so the average Minecraft player is thought of as such.

The game might be good, but it gets boring for me after a while even with mods. Just my opinion though

Game is boring and overplayed. Not to mention the children that play it and even the grown up pedophile community.

It's not a childish game. Minecraft can be enhanced to fulfill the needs of even middle working adults with modding capabilities such as Feed The Beast. It's a fun game, especially with friends and family.
