Why do people hack?

I don't get it either, people just hack on games and for what? Plus it's super annoying when I'm trying to cap and then a guy just flies across the map.

I don't hack, don't really see a point in why I should, but if we were talking about hacking in a game, then of course I'd hack in it, I'd only do it for the sole purpose of peoples' reactions.

Counter-strike is and will always be the game where you can find a lot of cheaters, in my opinion, because its one of the first person shooter games where you actually have to be skilled, you cant just go like crazy running and shooting like in other first person shooters games, you will have no accuracy if you do that, since its somehow dificcult to control recoil and aim ppl often choose the easiest way. (cheating) Weak ppl in my opinion.
The other reason is due to rank system, they all want the highest rank, no matter what, rank system was a nice implementation but with it more cheaters came also.
Solution? Client side anticheat system, is much more efficient than VAC. ESEA uses it and obviously is not 100% cheater proof but at least you have less cheaters, actually Ive played so many times in ESEA servers and I can say its difficult to find one.
This has been discussed a lot in steam forums but theres always the ceptics that answer something like: " I dont want any software scanning my files "....."I want my privacy!". Usually I just say ---> Unninstall windows then! :- )
Theres a lot of controversy regarding this subject but a lot of demagogy also, they (VALVE) know the solution but they wont solve it !

Also some people turn to hacking when they are met with bad ping or disadvantages that make the game much more difficult. This is also the same with some people who do it just because others hack and aggravate them so they join in. So it's not always just for troll factor or etc. Some people turn to hacking in games due to having a bad connection that renders them at major disadvantages or so on. It all depends really.

Because it's fun as simple as that.

some games were just meant for hacking. gta vice city and san andreas for example. its so much more fun to spawn tanks n planes n helos n cars and abuse it in any way you can.
multiplayer hacking tho... i used tp hacks on private wow servers to grind to max lvl faster for example. but some straightforward hacking thats making things unfair in pvp, there was the red line for me. im an old school cod player for example, and in early years I always wanted to get to that end game where purely skill and experience would overpower enemies. That made me feel good. Sure I turned on hacks in my lifetime on cod also but it was maybe a session or two after which i stopped playing the game at all for a few months.

tldr. some games are more fun when exploited, its a bitch move to use those exploits to gain advantage in multiplayer tho.

they hack because they are noobs and they use wh and aim boot but there is a cfg protector

Casually hacking can be very fun sometimes, there's just something about it, you gotta try it to understand.

People hack in games, well I wouldn't say "hack" I would more say "Download Scripts", but they do that because they think they are such 1337 coders. When in reality they are script kiddies who have no actual clue what they are doing.
