Why do people invest so much?

That's the keyword right there. If you're investing with that mindset without doing any proper research, going by other people's words, and with expectation to make crazy profit in a short amount of time, then investing in crypto currencies isn't for you.
To answer your question, "Why do people invest so much?": The answer is, I invest because I know how to make money and I make good money from crypto currencies. I go with the mindset that there's always a possibility of losing everything I've got so short term deficits don't bother me much.

If you invest 100$ in something that gonna be profitable in a year or more ofc everyone gonna do it..this is easy money dude

Saw an article on MSM about people remortgaging their houses to invest. It's super volatile atm. Not informed.

People need money ,so when they hear that something can get you money they do it
I myself invested money on btc 1 year ago at first it was not an investment i just wanted to buy 1 bitcoin for fun to show to my friend that had a bitcoin at school then the bitcoin growed so fast i kept it it maked me happy that i got 10k from 1k . Btw I think most people think that invest right now are retard ?

They ve should of listen the media 3 year ago when say said "Bitcoin the futere of money"

Low and behold, I lost a dollar of it. So my question is, why do people put everything into this? Like, can't anyone see that putting everything you have into a volatile investment can and likely will go wrong. I'm hearing stories of people losing everything when the market is going down. Surely the majority see's it coming, but it begs the question why anyone would go all in with the risks stacked against you. I understand high risk = high reward, but people NEED a backup.

I suggest you putting it atleast 125 -150$ my dude since you can actually get some money back if you do.
Never put in less then 50$

there are just rich and try to get more money, i invested to but its not worth it anymore

I've recently seen guy who made from 7k usd to 100BTC within a month, so hey, anything is possible (2btc -> over 30 on ZCL and over 30 btc earned on XVG) ..... I'm amazed by his achievements
