Why is Mei so hated?

She is just soooo overpowerd, her attacks are tooo op

she freeze you then kills you, people think of her as a low skilled character and nobody likes their egos being shattered

cuase she is overpowerd with her gun it doesn't have a cooldown and her healing ability is strong

In general, I find people react really negatively to stun/CC effects. Anything that causes them to lose control of their character provokes a way more visceral reaction than simply being killed.

Mei is fine, I think the demon stuff is just people memeing at this point.

Mei will always be one of my favorites. I get why she can be annoying though
