Quentin Tarantino, the rebel of the directors. For some a god for others an overrated. Director, screenwriter, actor and possessor of a chin capable of resisting hammering. Whether or not this man is one of the most important and representative of the seventh art in the last 2 decades, but why is that so? Here are my arguments.

Explicit violence: As can be seen in the vast majority of his films, Tarantino makes use of violence on several occasions clearly. It is interpreted as a purely aesthetic resource, since the director considers violence to be the best way to connect with the public. It is necessary for him or her to see large amounts of blood on the big screen.

Tributes to other films within his films: If any scene in a film reminds you of other films, you are clearly facing a Tarantino production. Thanks to this director, we have been able to approach other genres and expand our filmography, interested in unconventional and well-known titles, because he has made parodies, but also tributes.

Music as an essential resource: Tarantino always makes use of songs that help create perfect environments. To name a few examples, the song ?Girl, youll be a woman soon that sounds while we can see Uma Thurman dancing uncontrollably in the living room of her house. Another emblematic song of the tarantinesco cinema was "Cat people" by David Bowie in Bastardos without Gloria or also "Bang Bang" by Nancy Sinatra, which was the representative song of Kill Bill volume 1.

non-linear structures: If you want to differentiate a Tarantino tape, you have to take into account the linear structure of the story. Usually it is not linear, that is, it is chronologically disordered stories and, in which they are, there are numerous references to other films, which makes each director's film a cult work.

In short, Tarantino`s productions do not seek to convince or educate their audience. As the same author has confessed, his only goal as a director is to entertain and nothing else. It is not a cinema with ideological load or political speeches behind, what you see is what it is. Tarantino's cinema combines excellent music, images and content and thus creates true masterpieces that transcend time.

Without more to say, greetings to all and sorry for the spelling mistakes.
