Honestly it's so popular because so many cringy asf kids got some money and bought the game and started ree'ing everywhere they went fr fr lmfao.

Because alot of servers just run it the way people like, just where people can destrroyothers

Because gmod have a lot of modes, addons. It's funny, friendly and it's the best game for friends.
