Why is fortnite so played?

Guys, i wanted to ask, why people like fortnite? i am just not getting it.. Thanks for answers

Probably for a few reasons.
1) It's free to play.
2) Its relatively easy to get into if you're on a console.
3) It runs better than PubG on console
4) Streamers really contribute to it's exposure.

It's very addicting. The first time I've tried it I couldn't stop playing it for weeks everyday spending atleast 4 hours on it.

its been pretty much already said but its a free game and when its free it bring addictive receptive play.

it's a beatiful graphic and playing. very active developers and addons

because free to play is so accesable to children that when it got youtbue and twitch heat, it blew up

5) color palette was designed for children

Its free, it gets updates, it's optimized (unlike pubg), the graphics..

Cuz its Free and Original (I am talking about the building mechanics)

The most reason its most played is that its free to play
