Just people already bored with this mode. Many so-called ?Olds have already gathered on the servers. Beginners can be repelled by the game.

Because it's old and bad. In my opinion it is much better darkrp

coming from someone who's got deep roots in HL2RP, the general atmosphere of militaristic and serious RP as a whole just isn't satisfying to your average gmod player. even then, it just gets dull and boring after a few months.

Most people are just overdoing it. They're reusing the same idea of NATO v Taliban when people want something unique and brand new

The majority reason is most servers on there are years old and a lot of players probably just burnt out on it or just don't like it. MRP needs a good amount of people to start in the first place, so it not very common.

It has always been a dead game mode tbh, it's boring and stale

Never played it, and to the beloved it is not very interesting.
