Why is there such a high post limit?

This would create more spam then it prevents, sometimes I have to think about some good post ideas just to get by the 15 post limit before you can be eligible to redeem credits

Because it's quite easy to find spam here. The latest posts on the entire site are posted right there on the front page lol. So if there's a ton of posts/replies from the same user, they know what's up. Getting banned here is as easy as saying thanks! One of my friends didn't read the rules and got booted before he could say booted lol

To prevent spam, leeches and other trolls like that. would be my guess

It so that people dont spam and provide good post ideas to share within this community

It's a good idea at heart, but yeah you're right it definitely promotes spam at the same time just to get to the 15 post goal.

Besides what was said I also see it as quality control so links does not get taken down quickly

No idea, I just follow them rules.

I don't know, 15 posts doesn't seem like a lot... or maybe I just like to talk. But my guess is that the limit serves to weed out those who are not willing to participate in the forums. Although, the point has already been made that in so doing inadvertently adds to the spam, which is a legit point. But I guess it's just one of those things that you have to deal with.

Yeah the 15 posts limit seem like a lot to me it should be lowered
