I think new rock is trash but rock as a whole these days are underrated swamped with all this poppy garbage with no real meaning

I doubt rock will make a comeback. It was a social movement and we are in a different society now, and itis more associated with a fat, balding dad than a rebellious movement. Trap is today's rock. As sad as it sounds.

Rock is definitely not underrated, Guns n Roses' number one song hit 1 Billion views, Pink Floyd songs are known and hit +100M views each (at least) and new bands such as Arctic monkeys are very known as well

I like comercial music. For me rock is a little Bad because is so Strange listening the metal Instruments. For me is so complicad Listen

Rock is dying because, aside from a few great bands like King Gizzard, nobody's really pushing the envelope sonically. Shit on rap all you'd like, but compared to the amount of creative energy in the rock scene, hip-hop is experiencing a renaissance. I'd rather listen to JPEGMAFIA than some generic rock group like Greta Van Fleet.
