Will CSGO ever die?

With it being free 2 play right now i dont think any time soon but you will never know what the future brings

csgo? no.. maybe it will be a newer version or csgo is the lastest one, with only more optical updates

It's funny you're calling CSGO a classic. CS is a classic, CSGO is just the newest version. It may die to make playce for a newer version, but CS as a concept will never die!

I honestly don't think that CSGO will die now that it went free during Dec 2018, new players have been arriving everyday trying to climb the ladder

This is unlikely, most likely it will become legendary as 1.6

I believe there will always be people playing csgo so no I don't think it'll ever die or atleast anytime soon

Very unlikely. I'm not sure if valve is going to release a game in the future, even if that happens CSGO will still be very popular, like 1.6 is now.
They made it free to play, and have put a lot of effort into updates lately, if they keep doing that CSGO will say alive for a long time (unlike Fortnite).

Likely all games die unless they have a purpose, right now the reason csgo is alive is because of professional esports.

As soon as an alternative to csgo esports comes around it'll likely die
