Will Discord ever get taken over?

Discord has been top of the comms game for a while now. Do you think another company will ever take over?

No company will take up over the discord, there is no better alternative on the market.

I think its wouln't taken, its big company, currently still alive.

I hope not, although I'm not too happy with Discord either. It's very convenient for almost everything but whole servers get banned for the smallest reasons if someone reports them, just sharing ambiguous files is enough for a "Piracy" takedown.

There would have to be a serious competitor in both features and content to overtake Discord.

Unless someone else come up with an even better video/voice chat software that is free, it stunt be toppled unkess they maje their own mistakes

no discord lives forever (in my opinion) I hope so all those bot programming for nothing

For now no. but look at skype or ts3 people still use that but when discord came along everyone switched from that to discord so yes they will be taken over butnot soon.
