Hi, I wanted to post this thread and get everyone's opinion on this topic. This game is very old so I mean I could understand if it does end up completely dying. Considering it came out in 2004, 13 years and this awsome game is still running a fairly big community.

Honestly, it will one day as sad as it is. It could use an overhaul which could make it less laggy with props, cars, ETC, make it easier to code (Although it is already easy for some), and make it so there can be bigger maps.

It probably will die in a few more years time, I reckon by 2024 it will be dead if something isn't done to fix most the games bugs. But then again there is talk that there might be a Garry's Mod 2 that could possible fix all these bugs and give us a tone of new features which would be really cool.

I tried to get into it, the graphics for me just isn't up to it. Which is why i could never play mine-craft. But it just seems abit daft - but that is my opinion.

I don't think garrysmod will die, because the developer also said he's possibly working on a garrysmod 2

The wonderful thing about Garry's Mod is that people will keep creating new content to keep it fun, similar to what Minecraft and Skyrim have going for them. It also runs decently on older PC's - what's there not to love?
