Exactly, that's why it's still entirely possible that the value reaches $500. I agree with you though, it's not likely it will reach that point before the end of the year, but anything is possible.

Bitcoin is an growing currency. I'm sure it will be. But it'll not be staay for too long.

Decred , Ethereum , zCash will replace BTC . Impossible BTC will back to $400++ because many country ban it for payment . As you can see BTC have many problem about ecosystem (PoW) now many digital currency use PoA or Hybridized from PoW and PoS like Decred and zCash (edollar) that give more simple and not need huge energy
