Lol nah. Skins are the essence that made CSGO what it is. Without skins it would just be another shitty game

Skins make CS:GO unique from most games. Since they can be traded in for money, they create a whole new sub-community in CS:GO that is full of traders and investers.

I don't see how the existence or non-existence of skins would ruin csgo. the doing away with gambling with skins has resulted in scams being thwarted and the possibility of organic growth both for the esports scene and playerbase
