I don't think this game will be dying any time soon but with the rise of other Riot Games' games such as Valorant. It will probably bring down the player count but most likely will gain its players back.

Obviously not in a short term this is the kind of game where there always be players ! even if community is toxics

If you look at counter strike global offensive, they started out with being p2p and move into being f2p, with all those boxes and skins they for sure make a lot of money.
Being a competitive game also gives it a huge player base, so i dont think LoL will ever die, if not after cs go goes down.

It will never die. League of Legend will forever rain supreme over all other MOBAs.

It will never die until they stop making Lux skins. Kidding, but they change a lot of things every month to make the players more interested in playing. Also, as everyone plays it, your elo becomes something like a social status, so the game has an impact in the real life of the player.
