Yes, I believe we will eventually. We just have to put more money into our space program. Over the last few years, we haven't and now we managed to have a space contractor be created. aka SpaceX. This isn't a bad thing but with any contractor there are ups and downs

Of course yes, that's just the beginning....

Yes but not in our lifetime. I think humanity will be an intergalactic specie in the future!
