I have Windows 10 now and I'm pretty excited. Always good to keep things going.

I don't really have much to say about the good and bad about the update but I do like the new browser.

I just wanted to open this thread up so you guys can leave behind some PROS & CONS of the Windows 10 update.

I'll keep this thread update!

Pros;
Free.
Slick design.
Much quicker and responsive than Windows 7.
Notifications panel.
Desktop manager.
4 corner snap.
Start panel (not the menu, the tile interface) is just so much better.

Cons;
Waiting for UXstyle so I can use custom shell/themes
I would put the "spyware" here but I'm not wearing my tin foil hat today :hurr:

Not much difference over 8.1, but enough for me to upgrade.

Notifications panel.

For which programs are these used for? I assume Skype is one of them which supports notifications, but I'm using the desktop version since I disliked the 8.1 app version of windows 8.1.

I get notifications for everything basically. Anti-virus, email, kodi, and I have noticed a lot of programs are starting to add it. WinSCP has even shown up a few times.

I suspect it will be used for emails by most people. I was surprised to see Bittorrent notifications come up in the new designed boxes, rather than a shit tooltip. That's probably just a general Windows 10 improvement and not a program modification.

I haven't experienced any. You must be bad.
But seriously, I can understand if there are bugs. It technically isn't even out yet, but the version that is available is really nice.

Uh... it is out?
It might be just because there's some bugs because it was just released.

So this is the released version.. huh.
Yea, there will always be released bugs and compatibility shit. Either way this is WAY better than Windows 8.
