Depends on the purpose, for gaming Windows 7 wins, for "Office Jobs" Windows 10 is better

I would prefer windows 7 but everything is with windows 10 now so I guess if not everything was with windows 10 it would be windows 7 hands down but since it isn't like that windows 7

It's not typically 'required', it's typically 'recommended' to have Windows 10, however for most programs, they'll support Windows 7, as it's still a massively used operating system.

I thought it wasn't well that's pretty cool but you know something that is pretty cool are on windows 10 tho that isn't on windows 7 program wise.

I prefer Windows 10. No doubt. The telemetry of Windows 10 makes me throw up. As I said to someone on another thread: I'd rather burn all my hard drives before I install Windows 10 on it. Period.

I was personally not favouring an upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 as its always a learning curve. But as the Microsoft free upgrade offer was expiring I just went ahead with it.
Till now this is my experience:
What I Like:
* Much more stable and faster than Win7
* Much better support for newer technologies
* Lighter on system resources
* Better battery life
* The overall look and feel
What I don't like:
* Frequent updates which break sometimes
* Intrusive policies
* Not enough leeway to change from microsoft apps like search will only use Bing
* The control panel has become even more confusing.

Hope this helped.
