In my company we used to change PCs every 3 years or so. iMac 2006 I gave to my colleague? Runs fine. Every Mac Mini Bought even 5 years ago? Run great.
Oh and that girl who had a bug a day on PC? I never hear from her anymore.
No crashes, no restarts...
On a professional context MACS are better and cheaper in the long run. Want to game? Get a PC, they can be ridiculously powerful for cheap, but not stable.

MacOS is generally better designed in my opinion, and looks more aesthetically pleasing to the eye than modern Windows (not that I hate Windows 10's UI). It also seems to be more stable than Windows in some cases. The inbuilt applications and Apple's productivity tools are also great compared to the mediocre offerings that Microsoft has to offer. However, if you are a gamer, you'd use Windows, because far more support and the fact MacOS cannot be legally used on anything other than Apple's hardware. What seems like MacOS's biggest downfall (the legality of Hackintoshes) is actually a positive somewhat - since it means that the operating system is optimised for the hardware it is supposed to run on.

I'd go for MacOS as a non-PC gamer.
