Is wix actually a good website hoster, are the interfaces and customiseation they provide you actually good?

I don't usually like these type of sites.
I usually code the whole thing on my own.

If you are new to this whole coding thing and need a website ASAP, for personal purpose or for your small business, you probably should use this kind of service.
It's easy to use. Just some drag and drop and bit of creative input and the site is ready to be deployed.

But if you want to be an expert on this field for the future, you should learn some HTML, CSS, JS.
You can get a job with this kind of skills and you are not tied to a shitty service like Wix.

Referring to the person above. If you're new to website development and programming in general, I suggest looking at Bootstrap Templates or hiring a developer in the first place. There's tons of bootstrap, wordpress and more templates on the internet that anyone can grab for free or for a price.
It's easy to do by just dragging them onto any webhost and editing the files- anyone can do it.

You can get hosts for $2 - $5 such as XoyTek and many other hosts!

Yeah you're not wrong buddy. Great point. But your suggestion implies that people know whatBootstrap is, or Wordpress, or how do add plugins to Wordpress, or how to use a hosting service.
Paying another person and working with another person is not always simple.

For us it's very easy, we have the knowledge in this field. But let me give you an example. Does the template below look like it was made by a person who has any experience in field?

This page was made by a person who has no idea what HTML is. This dude wanted to bring his ideas online, with at less knowledge as possible.
Btw. Thanks forhttps://xoytek.co . Looks neat!

Hey! I like your thoughts and I agree 100% with what you said.

And it reminds me of the good old days where websites were more on the person creative side and how they wanted it, now its all frameworks and tons of CSS animations put onto a site. Thanks for the throwback with that image. But yeah- you're correct in every aspect.

But, it is pretty simple to pay a person but a lot of people will try to fuck you over charging $300+ for a 3 hour job.

On performance is a little bit slower but awesome platform.

For a web developer like me, I will not go for WIX. However; if you are not a web developer then, WIX and Squarespace are your bestion options online.

Wix is good for people who have zero idea what they are doing when it comes to building a website.

The issue i have with it, is you can not move that site to another platform. Once you have a design on wix its stuck to wix and wix only. With wordpress you can export and switch hosting providers if needed.

I would honestly steer clear of a platform such as wix.. What are you currently trying to make anyhow?
