Worst punishment received, ever?

I served over three years for growing cannabis. if that doesnt top it, idk what will

i had to stay still 20 hours. No sleep, no food, nothing. the terrible crime I committed? using my phone.

It happened to me too when I was very young too. My father said it worked and I never refused a bath again, not sure I believe it though, quarantine is... tough.

Been smacked in the head multiple times very hard, similar to Jarhead but faster and with more force. I was much younger too - so maybe my perspective is not entirely accurate.

Yeah this doesn't top the list. I never had to go the hospital. But one time I refused to go outside. Just a random demand by my mom. Totally out of the ordinary. So I refused. And it went back and forth. And she was getting really loud and pissed, as she was prone to doing. And she picked up a coat hanger and threatened me with it. So I picked one up too. And then she ended up grabbing my shoulders and sinking her nails through my Tshirt and dug into the back of my shoulders so that it started bleeding into my shirt.

So then I went outside.

I think she MAY have had a guy in the house and wanted to provide him a means to get out of the house. So ..... sorta a punishment? Because I wouldn't comply, I guess. I didn't exactly try to get her to "clarify her reasoning" after the fact.

Also one year, Christmas Eve, I was like 11 years old or so. And my dad told me that I would get one lash with the belt for every minute over 10pm that it took me to get into bed. And that seemed weird, you know, it being the Eve of the birth of Jesus and all (yeah, I know about winter solstice and Jesus being born in the summer, but just go with me on this). So I just tried to hurry up getting ready for bed. And I got into bed 8 minutes late. So he whipped me with a belt, 8 lashes .... on Christmas Eve.

But I lived. And I recognize that THEY WERE AND ARE idiots. And it isn't like others (others reading this even) didn't have things WAY worse. Like WAY worse. I didn't ever get raped or anything, and that's pretty common. Not that it makes it OK, it's not. But it's not a reflection upon me. It's really not my problem. They suck, not me. And I'm glad that those sorts of things were about as bad as it got. There was a limit to it.

Oh, I forgot this. I got into a fight with my dad a couple of times. They usually ended with me "hugging" him so that he couldn't really get any good shots in. One time, I was about to get in the shower (naked) and he pissed me off, so I yelled "Son of a bitch!" Not really at him, more like at the situation. So he came running across the house yelling "What did you say?" I answered his question. And the fight began. I don't know how many people have gotten in a fist fight with your father while you are naked and he is clothed, but it definitely affects your priorities as to what you want to .... ahem ... guard. HAHAHA!

These are sorta like punishments, I suppose. I mean, again they were idiots. But I think that this is still somewhat inline with the purpose of the OP.
