Worth making a darkrp server?

It's very hard at the beggining and getting players to join! I run a server and im at that stage and its hard to build up a community!

I think you shouldn't make a server, unless you learn LUA codding enough to make your own addons and scripts.

You should make a new DarkRP, but the one thing you have to look and search hard for is mature staff. No matter the content of the server if I get yelled at by a screeching 5 year old head of staff, I leave.

If yes, make it unique, and make sure you know what you are doing, there are probably too many DarkRP servers to start now,

If you're into DarkRP then go ahead. You can make it how you want, have your own rules make it unique with some good addons which im sure you can find on this forum

Hi-key just get a bunch of your friends and play and make sure they tell their friends and let the cycle continue till your rich

I have made a tone of DarkRP servers, so heres my advice. If you know tones of people that are willing to help and play on the server, then go a head make it. If you don't know a lot of people that can help kick start the server you are going to have a hard time gaining population on the server.

Starting a server isn't as easy as many think it is. You will have fun, and it will be stressful - population and maintaining is hard and you will need to find alternatives to get a good server. You always have to keep in mind that you'll need to provide fresh content or activities for one to have fun on the server. If it's just the same old, it will get boring very quickly and the server will either die out quickly or may never be something. If you really want to start a server, go ahead and do it, the experience is amazing and worth the time. Just be aware of the implications that come afterwards.
