Would you upgrade fro 1080ti to 2080ti?

If you have the CPU to support it, sure, but if you don't it isn't worth it - by the time you're playing games requiring a 2080 ti, you'll also be CPU bound I am sure.

The 1080TI is generally recognized as one of the best cards ever released, and even still sells for a ton of money. Not worth the upgrade unless you are trying to flex or you want the RTX crap. Raytracing has been around since Wolfenstein 3d, they just do it fancier now.

god no. prob about a 35% difference at best. wait for rtx 3000 series or AMD's next rdna cards

There is a huge jump in performance and other than RayTracing there's also an upgraded NVENC for recording and streaming and a Turing architecture is great.

At first it was useles, but I recommend you change to 2080Ti if you can, once the 30XX get released

An Upgrade from a 1080 to a 2080 isnt that noticeable for the money you are spending so I'd rather wait for the 3000 series

No, the 20 series was a big meme. Wait for the new stuff to come out

I have an rx 460 I would be more than fine taking a gtx 1080 and I wouldn't upgrade because I am broke :(

Yeah, really, I would just use mine until it wasn't working well anymore, and by then there will be something so much better.

Depends on your monitor really. if you're getting high enough fps nor reason to. wait for next gen
