of course not gmod is just getting better and better

garry's mod is not dead everytime people bring back some new stuff and the game become again cool

The issue is that a lot of the users coming to play DarkRP/StarwarsRP are either kids or socially awkward/autistic(no offence) people. They either act childish in situations or just don't know how to act. It also happens that these players are given admin.

Garry's mod was already dead since 3 years when all these kids came over shouting: MY DARKRP SERVER, BEST ADDONS blablabla.
Even if there are cool gamemodes, the game itself is dead because of these children...
