Xamarin android development

is it worth programming with xamarin platforms ? Or you just setup all of your stuff on android studio ?

It really depends on what sort of work you are trying to do and what audiences you want your application to target. Xamarin is great if you want to target both the iOS and Android platforms. Android Studio is great as well, but its only for Android.
