Your Best Crime Series

Hi!
I need your opinion
I have to take an entrance test to an important workshop for series screenplay.
I have to write the subject of the first episode of my favorite crime series.
I love crime and I do not have one of my absolute favorite series.
Which series Tv or Netflix do you recommend?

I personally enjoyed Luther and I'm pretty sure that's on Netflix. However, I'd personally suggest Mindhunter if you want something a bit more complex

Mindhunter was recommended but I found the first episode a little bit to itself. Is the development of the characters interesting or does everything remain very much in the style of Criminal Minds?

I felt the same on the first episode - appeared monotonous. Once you get passed the first episode however, it becomes really fascinating. Although it is entirely fictional, it still feels like the cases are real due to the gore and grit.

Would definitely give it another go.

The Punisher, Quantico, Shooter, Designated Survivor, Hawai Five-0, and others.

I've started this new show manhunt unabomber thats pretty good then there is mindhunter that is pretty awesome
Also there is confession tape that ive heard but not started yet but seems pretty cool
(All netflix series)
And if you want crime/drugs show there narcos or el paso
Or if you want money laundrying show theres ozark
After maybe there alot more but those ive just given you show that ive heard alot

crime series are not my type, but i watched narcos on netflix and i did like it.

True Detective is one of the best but only the first season

The entierty of true detective I love the entire series

Quantico, White Collar, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS: Los Angeles, and so many others.
