Your Favorite Final Fantasy and Why?

Mine is Final Fantasy 9.

Final Fantasy IX truly shines in its characters. Square changed things up for IX and replaced the typically whiny brooding hero with the playful, skirt-chasing Zidane. In many ways Zidane has been lost in the crowd of FF protagonists as most people conjure visions of Squall and Cloud when they think of PSX era games in the series. Its a shame that Zidane isnt as recognized as he probably should be. He has all of the eccentric devil-may-care stylings of an action adventure hero. If they ever made a Final Fantasy movie (ignored Spirits Withing) then Id rather have Zidane on the screen than any of the other heroes.

Mine is 10. It was the first final fantasy I played, and at the time I didn't quite understand it all but it brings back so much nostalgia since I traded it in and repurchased it multiple times

Mine is 7, I just love the characters, the story-line, just everything about that game. It brings me back.

My favorite has to be 7, it was the first one I played and I just loved all the characters in the game and the story was great

Mine is VII, hands down. I like IX a lot also, but VII as a whole is my fav

7. It was the first one I really got into and the story was just awesome and at the time the visuals just blew my mind. I played that over and over. I never beat the final boss though.

I've only ever played FF15. Never played the previous games. However I did enjoy it. I know the others play differently, but I enjoyed the way this one played.
