I think it was either a LEGO Star Wars game on like the PS2 or one of the really old iPad games. Or even a Nintendo game.

When I was a child i played an fish detective game.

It was running on xp or even earlier I cant rembember a lot, but it was fun back then.

You had to search for the underwater animal who stole your cookies. Maybe someone knows the name and get my childhood chills back.

Lineage II was the best game early on my childhood, before that, I only played some RPG's in PSX, like digimon world and legend of legaia. For PC, certainly was Lineage the first one. After this, I played Gunz: The Duel and CS 1.6

Haha.... I don't know who has heard of it, but Ascendancy by The Logic Factory. It was the first great 4X space game, and it was for MS DOS.

I only regret that I can't play it anymore... too old to run on these machines, and now I also don't own a windows machine.
