So I was really hyped being able to make more and better stuff due to my setup upgrade, but my projects that I have been working on before changing setups are just not rendering properly. Mostly taking up 30 seconds - 1 minute per frame or crashing (project is nothing crazy, just a csgo edit). By my judgment, the plug-ins are the problem, cause the error message was always related to an effect crash.

I can list the specs before and after if someone thinks that my hardware is the problem, but it should be working perfectly find with the hardware I have.

Would anyone have an idea of what the problem could be?
Already appreciate it if you read this far and would appreciate it so much more if we can find a solution to the problem.

Take care.  Peepos

take a screenshot of those effect settings in your edit (for later), uninstall that effect and then go search for another source for that same effect. (depending on the effect u could also just recreate it with default/vanilla stuff??)

It's not only one effect. From one plug-in alone, I used around 5-15 effects (would have to check for the exact number), so it would take a lot of time and skill to recreate all that stuff.

Most likely all the problems are due to this buggy plugin. Throw logs after the crash.

You might've reserved too much ram for other softwares

Even though your new PC may have better overall specs than your laptop, certain hardware components like the CPU, GPU, and RAM can affect rendering performance in After Effects. Ensure that your new PC meets or exceeds the recommended system requirements for After Effects.

Well these are my upgrades, was is laptop, is, is new pc

was 8gb ram, is 64gb ram
was some weak amd cpu, is intel i5-13600K
was nvidia geforce mx 150, is rtx 3060
was ssd, is m.2

so yeah, it doesn't make sense to me that the hardware is not enough when it was running on the laptop smoothly and the specs were like 6 times worse
