Is it even worth starting out as a miner on a single pc these days? Or do you really need farms of mining pc's to even make any $$$$

With a PC you don't think you have a great chance, you also have to do it in a place where the electricity prices are low

Mining BTC is hardly worth it now, the returns are very low and unless you're running some kind of massive mining rig, you'd just be losing money
