it's good way but 10$ is a small amount I imagine people will also charge you higher rates when you purchase it

before investing money you should plan ahead and think what you will do with the bitcoin, it might not be worth it for you

Absolutely you can buy $10 w/ BTC. An example would be using gemini.

With that low amount of investment you can't do anything wrong. It's just 10$ so just invest it, maybe you can turn it into 20$ or just 5$.

As everyone has already said, you won't be getting rich with $10.

If you just want to play around and learn, $10 is probably worth the experience.

But why bitcoin? Will you really feel like you own any bitcoin at all if you're just trading through a marketplace, rather than having the coin actually hit your own wallet?

Also if you wanted to go that route, you should use a coin with a lower transaction fee.
