You can start with canva, because it's more family friendly, grab every resoruce you can, and play with them, after that you can start watching tutorials on youtube of photoshop, practice taking pictures of you or grabbing pictures of your friends/family etc and use the things you learned from the youtube videos, practice and practice my friend

I've been working as a designer for over 15 years (I'm old LOL) and I can believe how good Canva is a starting point for designers.

It's a great place to start because it has a very user-friendly interface that removesa lot of complexity which results in greatdesigns quicker and more easily.

Some things to watch out for though; Canva will teach you a lot BUT its like riding a bike with training wheels. As long as you understand this and make the jump to proper commercial level software eventually, you'll do fine.

don't start with canva, use youtube for learning photoshop or illustrator and ig for inspiration

you wont have full control on your projects, which basically means you cant create what u have in ur mind

Skip canva and start learning some more advanced program, Canva is for begginers mostly and ther is no a lot of customization.
