is csgo worth getting into in 2020? skill gap too high?

The skill gap is never to high tbh for any game..
You can master a game from the ground up, no matter what, I still play CSGO 6 years later.

Sure you can hop into the game. It's never to late because you can learn and master the game also like them. Pros got much more time, but now it's easier because the game is now known. You can learn from everyone or the internet
